AetherRelay connects to your self-hosted computer backend over Cloudflare Tunnels. We access your Apple ID user record name and display credentials authorized during Sign in with Apple strictly to manage backend transmission access permissions.
AetherRelay contains zero third-party advertising SDKs, zero telemetry trackers, and zero analytics databases. Your browsing activity, files, and payload contents are stored exclusively on your computer's local hard drive in standard JSON files.
The app uses Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) strictly to inform you of transmission status updates (e.g., pending, completed, or denied requests). Self-hosters can configure custom APNs keys or utilize an encrypted APNs Relay Proxy service.
Because all data resides strictly on your own computer backend and sandboxed device storage, deleting a request or clearing the server data folder immediately removes all associated local tokens and cached payloads.
